MDA Sports (a committee of Magen David Adom UK) are organising a White Collar Boxing Evening to be held at York Hall, Bethnal Green on Sunday July 2nd 2006.
I have been taking part in a rigorous training programme over the past few weeks, and have just under 6 weeks training left to get into tip top shape to fight in three two-minute rounds. In addition to putting myself through the required training, I have pledged to raise a minimum of £2,500 for MDA.
Magen David Adom is Israel’s non-sectarian medical emergency service that also provides the nations blood. All generously donated sponsorship will be given directly to the MDA Blood Services Centre in Tel Hashomer, Israel. This money will enable be distributed by the centre directly to local communities to ensure Israel’s blood banks do not deplete, thus failing those critically in need of blood.
